Dreams
Dreams are what scienctists believe reflects our unconscious mind.They reflect our inner most thoughts and desires or maybe a fear. Dreams can also show us what we are feeling and thinking but are not aware of.
Dreams can also be a replay of a day's events and what we hope can happen or hope to see.
Dreams can be fantisies or it can be just like reality. It can be logical or illogical , sensible or totally impossible. No matter what we dream , it tells us something about ourselves that we may not know. However it tells us these secrets in intricate riddles that are hard to comprehend and unlock the mysteries behind them.
For instance, dreaming of being chased stems from the feeling of anxiety in our waking life. The way we respond to a pressure or anxiety is often reflected in a chase dream. When you dream of being chased my someone it means you are trying to run away or hide from someone or something, like stress,that you think is harming or threating you.It is instinctive in everyone . In your waking life ,you might feel that there is someone who is trying to destroy you and you may be trying to evade the issue.This dream is an indication of fear.It's what scientists call a nightmare.
In this way dreams tell us a lot of ourselves. It lets us know in a round about way what is currently weighing on our mind and what is important to us that we have not addressed. It also tells us a bit about our metal well-being which we may not be fully aware of. For example,,we may not know that we are stressed over something but a chase dream indicates to us that we are subconsciously troubled over something .
Dreams can also reflect our fantisies and desires. For instance a young child may dream about being a princess as she feels being royalty is fun and she can be pampered. This is of course an innocent fantasy which is a healthy part of a young child's growing up process . It is a part of imagination, or maybe admiration about certain traits that a princess ought to have. Another example would be , an avid gambler who desires to win every bet may dream of being a millionaire just by gambling and winning every bet he takes.
In these ways, dreams tells us a lot about our emotional well-being and reinforces what is important to us.
To some people, dreaming of certain objects or animals are warning signs or a good omen. Take for an example, some people believe that seeing a canary in your dream signifies happiness and harmony or to dream that you are experiencing delight, signifies a favorable and positive turn of events and much pleasantness. That of course is up to an individual's belief:)
In my opinion dreams are useful for understanding more about ourselves and should be used to guide us through life^^. A chase dream should alert us to take notice of our feelings and do something about it. Dreaming about being an actor may denote that indicate that you are putting up an act and am not showing your true self to others. You may know it but a dream reinforces it .It makes you want to ponder more about it., think about this dream and , why you are not being yourself and am putting up an act. Could it be that you are afraid that others might not like you for who you are? Do you lack the courage to be yourself ?Maybe you don't know that you are subconsciously burying your true nature due to circumstances (like maybe you are sensitive by nature but become very hard hearted due to harsh conditions like abusive parents at home but you don't realise it) .
Dreams help us understand ourselevs, our emotions, desires and fantisies better. With this understanding we can improve ourselves and face up to our problems and solve it .Or maybe even to make us more determined to achieve our desires because now we know it means much more to us than we thought it was before.:)(LOL juz dun do anitink evil or harm ppl or go commit the 7 sins or sometink. sometink healthy^^like having a gd career without sarbotaging others or harming them.Bt muz be wary of ppl. Loving you and meaning it
Since Yesterday was Valentine's day i shall blog something about love.
Love comes in many forms. There is love between family, between friends, between lovers, for animals, for nature for many other things.
Love is not tangible, it cannot be held in your hand nor can it be owned.
Love is to be felt, to be cherished, to be held close to one's heart.
Love is to feel what the other person feels.
To feel the joy he feels
To feel the sadness without anything being said
Love is to be strong for the special person
To give a shoulder to lean on
To give the correct dose of space
To understand
Love is to allow someone to love you
To protect you
To allow that person to feel important
To let the person know what makes you happy
Love is letting go when its time
Love is to hold her back when when you should
Love is trust
Love is unconditional
Love is when two people are happy for each other
Love is free sprited
Love is kind
Love is forgiving
Love is to not cause unecessary stress and pain
Love is sitting beside you on the train silently
Enjoying your prescence
Love is as warm as the fire at the fireplace in winter
Love means never letting you feel unloved
Never making lonliness become your habit
Never letting you doubt if anyone cares
Love is to make you feel important
To really mean that

簡單友情的快樂
Last sunday i went out with my junior Rebecca and she told me: Steph, i'm afraid that when i go to JC i will lose contact with all the friends i cherish now.
I can't remeber what i replied then but i suppose it is inevitable , due to the mountains of tutorials that she has to handle, that it is very hard to keep in contact with friends from secondary school.
Life goes on no matter what, time moves on meachanically no matter what. Even if u wanna stop it ..desprately wanna stop it..
Memories and words exchanged may be blurred with the passage of time (though some very inspiring or meaningful/encouraging ones will be remembered 4eva)but the feelings and bonds fostered with our friends will always be inside us, it will become part of us.( We won't forget our friends luh, like thier names n faces etc..)
Even though we may be bombared with all lot of responsibilities and have no time for reminiscences of the time spent together but the feeling is always there. Maybe after some time we will past missing our friends and become overwhelmed with life's demands but in the late of the night when we are alone, the feelings of friendship within us will suface. We may not remember every word out dearest friends said or remember the details of the wildest outings but feelings are there. It can never be changed, can never be lost, will never be forgotton, will always be in us.
Consciously or subconsciously it will always be part of us.
Friends are imporatant to one's life though they may not always be there physically but they are always there with you emotionally. The feelings of security and joy can and will always be a part of us.
While we have the opportunity, we must cherish all the time spent with our friends, never take it for granted for in the world nothing can stay constant. We must live to enjoy the moment with our friends now.Don't think about if you can still keep in contact in the future, just savour the moment that you are with your friends. Keep the feelings and remember them . Then when you look back, the feelings are indescribly sweet.
Our friends are like our personal guardians. Choose them wisely and friendship is beautiful. Cherish them. Never forget that they're always with us.Friends should never be taken for granted becuase the feelings , companionship and joy they give is priceless. Whether Rain or shine they're always beside us.. watching out for us and giving us the much needed support , strength and comfort.
Friends are made. When you see a worthy friend u must go all out and make friends with that person. And then when that person becomes your personal guardian, never let go of all the feelings and whatever they offered to you. Keep whatever they gave you as part of you and give them your blessings in whatever they do and be glad for them whereever they may be.
To: All my dearest friends, maybe 10 years down the road i may not remember where we went on which date or what we actually did when,or what bag u carried to sch everyday, but you guys will always be cherished and remebered by me . YAY.
Memories and encouraging words by friends are the most special.
They are like intricate patterns carved on rocks by a skilled craftsman
Wind and rain may errode them so they aren't so clear over time

Soul searching Session
Today i am going to remind myself about being me. Just in case i lost my memory. Hey u nv noe!
Currently my name is Stephanie. Basically i am a person who has 2personalities. Usually, i am a person who prefers others to start a conversation not because i cannot but because i prefer it like that. People who start conversations with me make me feel more comfortable( Usually; there are exceptions). Another thing about me is that i like to think about things and human behaviour. I like to analyse people. People are interesting when they aren't harbouring evil thoughts.^^I like to take stock of my life and remeber important things in my life, remember things my friends and family told me that i will cherish forever. I need to have a direction in life before i can be motivated.I also like to be with my friends and family but we do not necessarily have to talk. I just like the presence and space. I like them to remember i apppreciate them so i like to send e-greetings though most ppl probobaly don't bother to open them but its okays^^. I like to buy food back for my family too or buy sometink affordable for mi sister when i can afford it. I like to hug things like a bag or something but i dun't usually do tt unless i'm with my close friends.
I am also a person who keeps mostly to myself and i do not usually tell people what i am thinking because in my opinion no one will really understand me anyway. So its pointless.Though i might try to tell some of my close friends .It's ok. I mean i can't really expect people to understand me considering that i think a lot.Haha. If people knew what i was thinking they might think i'm weird, so i dun't wanna risk losing mi frenx Bah.^^ I also like to be prepared for the worst n pray for the best.
I am also an introvert by nature..but i do not hide my feelings and am not talkative by nature. Although i may not express my opinions but i express my emotions freely but sometimes i can control my emtions and refrain from showing what i really feel. I can smile sadly n u wun even noe. NICE. HAHA.
My 2nd nature which is also me but not the me that i'm most comfortable as.Is the one who starts conversation and decides things very easily and quickly( i am not exactly like that , i like to think and be very clear about what i want).It is also the me that looks like i can easily make friends that i'm comfortable with and the one who people tend to think will have had a BF b4.
BUT in fact i am more of the 1st as u can c. But i love both of my selevs since different ppl like me for mi different selves. Well i respind differently to different ppl.N i tink most ppl r like tt too. Its normal. I'm normal too bt mi opinions may make me seem different or even weird whatever, just not,NOT abnormal. yeah. ^^

相信有多深
There are many things in life that are important to me like my family and friends and ya studies, hobbies and stuff. But something that i feel that is more important like more more important in life is faith. Faith is when u really believe in something. Like really strongly.
Faith is important to be because in mi opinion faith itself gives birth to hope. When you believe in something strongly ,your faith exists as a part of you. Because of your faith you will believe and because you believe there is hope. You will never allow yourself to succumb to any difficulties and will will yourself to succeed because nobody will ever want to let go part of themselves because that would mean that person is not complete.
Another reason why i am fascinated by the power of faith is that it gives you confidence too. well that's something that i dun realli have. Laughs! When something exists as part of you or together with you(depending on the degree of your faith), you feel that you are sure of what you want and have to ability to go forth and get it! It gives you the confidence to stand up for what you believe. Confidence is power to a certain extent. Confidence draws people attention and respect and also deters any troublemakers but too much can make a bad impression.(too many cooks spoil the broth) ..
Faith is something worth searching for but being a powerful tool choose your faith carefully and use this weapon wisely to make lives better:) hao le. that's all WAN AN!!! BTW the mickey mouse n Minnie mouse on Channel 8 today hao ke ai! haha.Labels: psychology

fresh air
Many things in life that gives us joy are simple things.
Simple yet precious. For instance , the joy of
seeing someone smile to sit beside your frenx in
complete silence or maybe just to take in the fresh
air.Many a time we are too caught up in whatever is
impending, immediate, that we forget what is
essential because we have taken it for granted.
For example most of us are too busy to
comprehend or appreciate the importance of
not rushing to buy a present but to put in the
necessary effort and sincerity that must be
given to the recipient. To most, it would just be
a ritual, somthing that must be done,just to
show one hasn't forgotton. To tell oneself:" I
have gotton her/him a gift
and that is tantamount to my sincerity , equal to
my effort, a tangible prove that i
remember".never mind about the fact that i just
wanted to get anything for her...
I believe theres a saying: if you rush through to
reach the end, you're discounting on the fun you
should have while travelling there and enjoying the
scenery as you go along.
So remember , while its thrilling and paramount to
get that A-level certificate of yours..which is well,
impending and tutorials immediate. Stop and look at
a drop of water hit the smooth ,still pool of water.
Celebrate the soft, gentle ripples formed and enjoy
the tranquility and music by the symphony of drops of
liquid.oh and give ur tired aged father a peck on his
wrinkled face.
